![]() I don't know if I would use it as such, but there may be some value there. I would never try to run this from within a DAW.įWIW, version 2.0 is supposed to be a self contained DAW. to get the most out of a tool like this it is standalone mode all the way. Makes playing modules from keyboards easy as well. ![]() just select the MIDI channel or hardware USB MIDI driver and go. It sequences hardware w/o any hassle and captures every bit of MIDI CC data I throw at it (every knob twist and turn). I run the audio from the MPC Touch software out of my 1818vsl and back in though an ADAT 8 Channel in to Studio One. It's sequencing my Prophet 6, Pro 2, Streichfett, Minitaur and Reface CP it is slaved to my Analog Rytm (which sends hardware clock to my whole rig). Love the feel of the hardware (versus Machine) and think the workflow on the touch screen is fantastic. I run it in stand alone mode and use it away from my PC.
